PET/BREEDING CONTRACT

This agreement between Buyer and Seller, above named, lists the terms for the sales transaction for the animal below:
 
One Chinese Crested  ______________ puppy AKC #_____________________
For the price of $_______ US dollars.  Buyer may pay $200.00 for deposit to hold puppy. Deposits are non-refundable but apply to the sale price.
 
Terms and Conditions:
 
Nancy Altermatt referred to as Seller and the animal listed referred to as dog and other party referred to as Buyer.
 
Guarantees By Seller:
 
1. This dog is registerable through Akc and Seller will furnish Akc papers and pedigree.
2.This dog is considered a breeding/pet, show prospect by the Seller and the Akc breed standard.
  A-Bite  Buyer understands that missing teeth are acceptable to        breed standard in the hairless variety.
  B-Temperament  Seller guarantees sound temperament at time of sale.  After sale, Seller has no control of environment.
  C-Ears  In this specific dog, her ears have been erect.  During teething however, this breed is known to have their ears fall. 
  D-  Hair  There is no guarantee to how full or how long the hair will be.  Normally, the crest, socks and tail get longer.
  E- A licensed veterinarian will check and provide health certificate.
 
Guarantee becomes null and void if:
 
1  Injury or abuse of dog due to Buyers negligence including:
  A- malnutrition                       D- Use in breeding before dogs          
  B- roaming at large                     Third season. (18 months)
  C- inadequate exercise           
                                               
If Buyer has been involved in any of the  actions A through D under injury or abuse, Seller is entitled to take back ownership immediately. 
Ownership will immediately revert back to Seller.
 
Guarantees by Buyer:
 
1  Buyer agrees to maintain dogs health by having regular/annual exams by a licensed  vet including: Vaccines, annual fecal exams.
2  Buyer agrees to provide normal care including: fresh water, food, daily exercise and attention/love.
3  Buyer agrees that No puppies out of this bitch be sold to pet stores, puppy mills or any type of resale industry. 
4 Buyer agrees to register this dog with the seller’s breeding name with the AKC.
 
If Buyer is unable to keep this dog for any reason, they must notify the Seller.  Seller has the right to take the dog back and find another home or keep for itself.
 
Buyer agrees to keep this dog at the address provided above in this contract and to inform Seller of any address changes.  Seller to do the same for Buyer.
 
If Buyer dies and immediate family does not decide to keep the dog, the ownership reverts back immediately to Seller. 
 
If Buyer feels dog should be replaced due to guarantees of Seller:
1- The dog must be returned to Seller for evaluation.
2- If replacement is in order, Seller will replace dog at the first time available from the next litter.  Replacements will be of like kind.  Powderpuff for powder puff and hairless for hairless.  
 
Buyer agrees that this contract will be bound by the laws of the State of Oregon and any dispute will be settled in an Oregon Court.
